Arteca Jilava is a privately owned company, situated in the southern part of Bucharest.
The company stared out over more than 70 years ago , as a small factory by the name of MIRA, who was manufacturing small range rubber products.
Since 1955, began the construction for the Rubber Plant Jilava. The new production site developed a large range of rubber technical products.
Between 1957 - 1975 the company expanded with new production section such as low, medium and high pressure hoses , industrial and v-belts, conveyor belts, metal fittings , gaskets, various articles of rubber flooring like the technical rubber sheets , automotive articles, ebonite articles and military defense products.
